Costco price adjustments, briefly
Costco offers to refund the difference when an item's price drops within 30 days of purchase. Here's how it generally works.
The 30-day window
A price adjustment covers drops within 30 days of your purchase date. After that, the drop generally doesn't count.
How to claim
- Bought on costco.com: request a price adjustment through costco.com customer service, with your order number.
- Bought in a warehouse: take your receipt to the membership counter.
The hard part
You have to notice the drop, and few people check a price every day for a month. PageWatch does that for one product: we check costco.com about every hour for 30 days and email you if the price drops.
Worth knowing
- Warehouse and costco.com prices aren't always the same. We watch the costco.com price.
- Costco sets the rules, and they can change or have exceptions. Check with Costco for the current terms.
- PageWatch is independent and not affiliated with Costco Wholesale.
